Procedural Text (Teks Prosedur)
A procedural text contains a set of sequential steps that
explain how to complete a specific task. It usually includes a list of materials
and the steps or procedure required to do or make something. It may also
include advice or suggestion about how to do a task faster or differently as
well as warnings about things to look out for or to avoid. Direction,
instruction and rules are procedural texts.
Teks prosedur mengandung beberapa langkah-langkah yang
menceritakan bagaimana suatu pekerjaan dilakukan. Biasanya dalam penulisan- nya
terdapat juga bahan-bahan yang dipakai untuk membuat sesuatu tersebut, seprti
contoh nya cara membuat donat dan langkah-langkahnya. Teks prosedur dapat juga
berisi tentang saran atau nasehat tentang.

1. Title which contains the goal or aim of the
text
2. A list of
material that shows the things required for the procedure
3. The
method that provides a sequence of steps which shows the order in which each
step needs to be done
4. Headings
to make the text easy to follow
5. Diagrams
and illustrations to make the steps clearer.
