Expressing Satisfaction and Dissatisfaction
Hello teman-teman, saat ini saya akan berbagi tentang cara
mengungkapkan rasa puas dan tidak puas dengan Bahasa inggris. Ada waktunya kita
bisa merasakan puas maupun tidak puas. Seperti halnya pada saat kita berada di
sebuah restaurant, kita disambut oleh banyak pelayan yang ramah, melayani
dengan baik hati, terutama dalam menawarkan dan menghidangkan menu makanannya.
Akan tetapi, pada saat service yang diberikan tidak sesuai dengan apa yang kita
harapkan maka kita pasti akan merasa tidak puas (dissatisfaction)

Nah untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara kita mengungkapkan rasa
kepuasan dan ketidakpuasan dengan bahasa Inggris teman-teman dapat perhatikan
beberapa ekspresi di bawah berikut:
Satisfaction (Formal situation)

Example of expressing satisfaction in a dialogue:
Dialogue 1: Situation 1: You are doing your assignment with your
friend. When your friend is typing suddenly the lamp is went out. Whereas, you
have not saved it.
Situasi 1: kamu sedang mengerjakan tugas dengan temanmu. Pada saat
temanmu mengetik tiba-tiba mati listrik. Padahal kamu lupa belum menyimpan
hasil ketikanmu.
Beni : Oh my god! I forgot to save our data!
Rama : what! How dreadful you are! I had reminded you to save bit
by bit. You are very Careless.
Oh… I am not happy about it. So, what will you do?
Beni : Nothing. Just wait until the lamp is on.
Are you mad on me?
Rama : Not really. I do really feel disappointed. It’s useless to
get angry just because of it.
No one should be blame
Dialogue 2: situation 2: One day Beni goes to market to buy a pair
of shoes. The seller serves him nicely.
Situasi 2: pada suatu hari Beni pergi ke pasar untuk membeli
sepasang sepatu. Pembeli melayaninya dengan baik.
Beni : Excuse me. Could you please help me to
find me a pair of shoes?
Seller : of course sir. It’s my pleasure that you visit our
market. What brand do you want?
Beni : I want to buy a pair of sport shoes,
Adidas. The size is 40. Do you have it?
Seller : Adidas? Hem, don’t worry. We are one of the
branches of Adidas Company.
Here you are, we have four chosen with different colour. Which one
do you prefer?
Beni : I want to have the blue ones. How much is
it?
Seller : it’s IDR 600.000. I give a special price for you,
IDR 450.000.
Beni : Wow. I am so happy about this price.
Thank you very much. May I try?
